I love the beeswax body butter in a jar, but I thought it might be nice to have it in a bar — like a bar of soap, but a beeswax body butter in a bar. (That’s a tongue twister.) It works well,  just smooth it over your body. For this recipe, I used less olive oil, so it’s less oily and provides a great barrier on your skin and holds it’s shape as a bar.  I love the smell of it — this time I didn’t use any scent, I just let the smell of the beeswax come through. I also used shea butter, which is great for your skin.
Here’s the recipe for homemade beeswax body butter bar:

- Plastic soap molds
- Glass Mason jar (wide mouth, 16 oz)
- Saucepan
Put all the ingredients in the glass jar. Set the glass jar in a saucepan of water, heat until everything is melted. Stir, pour into molds. Chill to set.
