My grandkids love to make things. And whether you homeschool or not, it’s fun to make things with your kids. I’m fascintated with these fairy houses that my daughter made with her little girls. These are simple to make with your kids. You will see some extravagant fairy abodes on Pinterest, but these are easy to make with kids, ages 4 and 6. Even my mom, great granny, got involved and made a little walkway and stepping stones. I guess we never get too old for play and imagination. You might call these gnome homes!
Take your kids for a nature walk and let them collect sticks, leaves, flowers, seeds, rocks — whatever is nearby. Then bring them home and sort through your finds.
