One of my favorite movies is Doris Day in The Glass Bottom Boat. My sister and I would always look for this one on TV, back in the day when there were no videos to purchase, no DVDs, just the hope that the Turner classic movie channel would play these silly Doris Day movies.
Always a perk-pick-me-up for this silly girl. And you never have to worry about the content and language, all my kids have been subjected to these movies.
Doris Day and Rod Taylor pair-up in this comedy. He’s the scientist, she’s the woman working at his company. This photo is when she gets her high heels stuck in the grate that vibrates to remove dust (before entering the clean room). Rod Taylor is giving her a help with her heel.
